The park gained its popularity in the 80's for the natural beauty of its resident waterfall and natural pond which known as Lubuk Lesung. There is a park with walkways, benches and resting huts. There are no chalets currently available, however other facilities such as food stall, car parking lots, toilet cum changing rooms and a praying hall. Souvenirs shop also available here.
A multi level 20 metres cascading waterfall, created by a stream flowing out from the uphill forest is suitable for picnic, camping and a 5 km tracking trail through the forest to Bukit Tok Bidan ( 842 m Altitude).
To overnight in this area, all visitors are required to get permission from Kedah Forestry Department 604-4903760.
The park gated at night as to prevent illegal activities in the park such as poaching and legal herb collecting. It is known that this park is rich in wild herbs like tongkat ali and kacip fatimah.
